Washi is a fine, hand-made Japanese paper that’s been used in decorative arts since the 17th century. It is block printed with many traditional colors and motifs. Washi has a soft, fabric feel that makes it especially easy to work with. A gift of washi art is not only decorative, but symbolizes a wish for long life and good fortune.

Create your own beautiful gourd art, whether as a gift or for your home decor!  Using egg gourds and special handmade paper and fabrics, you will learn a technique that is fun and easy!  Projects are 2″-3″ and will vary in color and pattern. All supplies provided, and your ornament will be completed and ready to take home with you.  Instructor – Deb Ready, class size is limited to 8 students.
